President’s Message

As we end our 2021-2022 Season, I am happy to relate that we have survived the epidemic as an organization. We are financially strong, and we have 68 dues paying members. We have continued to fulfill our missions to provide education, fellowship, and opportunities for service. Dues will remain $125 and can be paid by check or electronically by credit card or bank transfer. Instructions will be on the website and in the emails.In response to membership requests, we will shift our three educational programs to lunches at the Neighborhood Health Clinic on Goodlette Frank Road. We will provide box lunches as part of your dues, and menu options will be available. We will have three social events as well. All events are on the calendar. These events will not include CME.
Ongoing medical lectures with CME opportunities are now available with our association with Lee Health and with the NCH system. Monthly lecture schedules will be presented by email and on the website. Instructions on how to obtain CME when you sign up for the lectures will be on the website.
Finally, an organization is only as strong as its members. As local physicians retire and as others move here, all members can help us recruit them. Help us by spreading the word.
